Strengthen Economic Development
Build new private sector relationships to buildout meaningful and resident driven development for new jobs, neighborhood entertainment, and strategic growth. Thread and protect characteristics, goals, and residents of the neighborhood as we begin the future of Route 1.

Strengthen Community Empowerment
Provide resident platforms for Public, Pedestrian, and Cyclist Safety initiatives including ensuring we have economically lensed policies and city procedures.
Motivate and lead parents involvement in Public Education.
Identify and develop local workforce opportunities.

Focus on building meaningful relationships with University of Maryland leaders.
Establish stronger partnerships with PGCPS, County, State, Federal Representatives
Build out mutual contacts with Utilities, Metro, and New Businesses.

Increase information avenues to residents
Advertise more about city resources, events, and opportunities to provide feedback to city leadership
Employ creative approaches to ensure information is accessible and communicated to all residents

Actively seek out resident’s voices, especially those that are not typically heard

Improving Education
Strengthen relationships between the City of College Park and public education leaders to improve public school conditions
Effectively address student overcrowding at local public schools
Identify, explain, and promote all available resources to students and their families
Host multilingual information sessions for English as a Second Language homes

Advancing Representation
Represent the issues that matter to College Park residents
Organize and push resident-championed issues through bureaucratic hurdles
Boost city relationships with local small businesses
Improve business conditions to attract additional investment that benefits College Park residents
Develop the existing infrastructure of our city for a sustainable future
Build incentive pipelines for College Park residents and their children to invest long term roots with the City, University, and local community
